2019 Recap

January 10, 2020

At the start of 2019, we had several goals for the year of products and services that we wanted to provide for our customers – several of these technology-driven products, we had already started on at the end of 2018 yet took months of research, testing and preparation to get ready for customer launch.

As we look back over our 2019 ‘To-Do’ List for our customers, we’re excited about what we were able to introduce:

Re-design a more up-to-date Website including features for those with disabilities

 Launch Mobile Wallet

Launch Positive Pay for Business Customers

Instant Issue of Debit Cards – receive your Card at account opening now

Incorporate Debit Card Controls into our Mobile Banking App for better, easier Debit Card Security

Launch Person-To-Person Pay within our Mobile Banking App for more convenience in paying friends & family

Launch School Bank to ALL the Giles County Elementary Schools

Launch School Bank to Fayetteville High School & Ralph Askins Elementary in Lincoln County

Launch School Bank to Blue Springs Elementary, Cedar Hill Elementary, Johnson Elementary, Athens Bible School and Brookhill Elementary in Athens City/Limestone County

In addition to the above, we are most proud of our 2019 Community Donations.  When we opened for business in 1938, we made a promise to our community. A promise that if it will better our communities, then we want to be involved.  Our total 2019 Community Donations through sponsorships, fundraisers, schools support and much more was $240,000+. It reflects our dedication to our initiative of Making Communities Great.

We’re committed to the customer experience both in person and digitally.  We’re excited for 2020 and will continue to be driven with the customers needs and expectations as our primary goal.
